PET MAT

SUNGWOO MAT is made from high tenacity industrial yarn.
The yarn is manufactured and designed for various civil engineering (harbour construction works, reclamation works, road works, industrial complex, etc) under accumulated high techniques of Sungwoo.

Usage

  • Prevention of inequivalent subsidence by reinforcement of weak ground in civil engineering works.
  • Prevention of soil leakage in reclamation dredging works.
  • Reinforcement of equipment trafficability and support for soft ground
  • Filtration function for retention of soils

Characteristics

  • Excellent efficiency of works due to flexibility and softness.
  • High tensile strength, due to high tenacity synthetic yarns.
  • Good sunlight(UV) resistance
  • Good chemical resistance (alkali, acid, etc).
  • Easy to work for underwater-installation due to having greater specific gravity than water.
